What do you consider a “mom in tech”?

We consider you a tech mom if you work for a tech company (fintech, healthcare tech, e-commerce, etc) even if you aren’t in a technical role. You’re also a tech mom if you work in a technical role at a non-tech company or if you work for an agency that provides services to tech companies. Have a tech-based company, business, or startup? You’re a tech mom. Come join the community!

I want to get into tech, is this community for me?

We are considering building courses outside of this membership for moms who want to transition into tech, but you may still find value in this community to get a real life perspective inside the lives of moms in tech where we each share our journeys of how we got into tech. In addition, some of the courses can be applied to ambitious career moms in general.

Is there a job board?

Our members do have the ability to post jobs from their company or roles they may be hiring for in a “job board” section of our community, but this is not a central feature in our community.

I’m a tech mom entrepreneur, should I join?

While our courses are not specific to starting your business, we have a thriving community of fellow tech moms here to cheer you on and motivate you. In addition, our content and courses will help you thrive in your career as the CEO of your company without burning out. 

I’m not a mom yet, but I’m thinking about becoming one, should I join?

Certainly. You can get a taste for what working motherhood in tech is like or get support if you’re going through IVF while trying to hold down a career… a resource I wish I would have had when I went through it. Our courses will apply to helping you thrive in your career as well. Plus it will prepare you for the road ahead.

I’m an individual contributor, should I join?

Yep, you should! We’ll be releasing content to help you determine if a promotion is the right next step for you and if so, we’ll provide you with the exact steps we used to land our first manager role. Perhaps you don’t want to move into a leadership role yet and that’s okay. A ton of our content and courses will help you thrive no matter what level you’re at.

I’m a mid-level manager and/or executive, should I join?

You’ll see lessons and content already posted in the membership and have access to those straight away. Additionally, we will drop new courses aligned to the success path each month, so you’ll have access to those as they become available. We regularly update and add new material too other than courses – so your content library will continue growing with audio files, checklists, processes, tools, quick wins, and workshops.

Are there in-person events or will I receive anything in the mail when I join?

No, the Tech Mom Collective is entirely online. We meet virtually on a monthly basis.

I don’t live in the US, should I join?

Absolutely. We’re a global membership community.

What happens if I decide to cancel my membership?

Obviously we’d love it if all of our members stuck around forever – but we know that’s not always the case especially with a changing economic environment. So, if you decide to cancel, we’ll be sad to see you go, but you can do so in just 2-clicks on your own.

Can I access the content in Tech Mom Collective if I cancel?

No. Your membership entitles you to enter the members area and access to the content and community during the duration of your membership. If you cancel or do not renew your membership, you will no longer be able to access content or the community.

Will my membership subscription price go up?

Once you lock in at your rate, your monthly subscription price will never go up. From time to time, we do raise the price of the membership, but rest assured, so long as you renew, you’ll stay at the rate you signed up with.

Can I upgrade to an annual membership later?

You sure can! You can upgrade to annual membership any time with a couple of clicks from your account page. Our system will automatically take into account the time left on your current subscription, so you’ll never be double charged either. However, you cannot upgrade to the lifetime license as that’s only being offered one time to founding members.

Do you have a referral program?
